Etsy shop of the week
There's not much information on this Etsy jewelry designer except that her name is Cindy and her line, Edor, is full of such delicate classic jewelry. The best part about the line is that it looks expensive because of the delicate detail but it's not! Almost every necklace is around the $20 range and earrings are under $15. Thanks Cindy for giving us a chance to look like classy ladies without the price tag. Check out the line here.

The best knee highs
Since knee-high boots are poppin' this fall with knee-high socks I've decided to give you a look at my favorite knee-high socks to pair those boots with! Free People makes my favorite socks that I've been able to find. There are so many different kinds with tons of different colors that you are bound to find a perfect knee-high for fall/winter. I'm so excited about this trend =)

Favorite pair of boots for fall...
are Steve Madden's Roady boots. They come in seven different colors ranging from tans to greys and are simply fantastic! Each zipper on them has a different color which adds some fun to the boot. I have been seeing them everywhere in LA the past few days since the weather has been a little cooler and I am starting to feel like I NEED a pair for myself. Good thing a few of the colors are on sale at stevemadden.com...

Just wanted to shout out to all of our International followers!
You're making us feel pretty fucking kool right now...

The hippie in me speaks
I am dying over this outfit from the new Free People catalog. I'm really loving dresses with the knee-high socks and boots. I think if it were me I would change the boots to something else but I still love the idea of this outfit.
I was sitting next to a girl in class yesterday who was wearing a unique but very seasonal skeleton hand ring. First thought in my head: LB would love one. It's just the perfect amount of creepy Halloween made in a stylish way. To get the ring go here.

I'm a mouse, duhh!
All of a sudden we've been seeing lace animal ears everywhere! We first saw this elegant accessory on Lady Gaga last summer when she was spotted rocking a Maison Michel headband on the way to her concert at the O2 arena. This summer we've seen the Olsen twins wearing this adorable trend and most recently at Vogue's 90th anniversary party during Paris fashion week. Although we're dying to get our hands (or paws in this case..) on a set of ears, we're not sure where exactly we would wear them.. then again Halloween IS just around the corner! What do you guys think?
If you want a pair of your own you can get them at Maison Michel or we found a more affordable pair by Spirit.
And for you crafters.. you can find instructions on how to make your own headband here.

I don't even want to write a review on Alexander McQueen because I don't want to take that joy away from LB because I know this is one of her favorite lines. Let me just say it was breathtaking artful garments. To see what I mean just look at the picture below. Sarah Burton really put in the detail that the late Alexander McQueen would have done himself.

Chanel was full of chunky heels, chunky sweaters, and chunky jewelry. Almost every piece had some type of tweed on it but this collection felt more office appropriate than a ready to wear line. I really liked the dress below sans the leather legs. I thought that was one of the edgier pieces in the collection.

I think I can honestly say that I would wear every single piece in Valentino's newest collection. Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri created absolutely beautiful silhouettes for this collection. Every piece was extremely feminine and delicate. I loved also that each of the pieces was transparent and that added to the delicacy of the garments. This is definitely one of my favorite collections for Spring.

Celebrity Outfit of the Week
If you don't understand yet that we're obsessed with leopard you are probably getting some sort of idea now. Dakota Fanning is also wearing my favorite pair of pants out there right now: the J Brand Houlihan pant in a color that I haven't seen yet. She dresses so mature for being 16. I'm impressed!
The most lovely pair of Leopard pants...
...we have ever seen.
The cobrasnakeXhalloween
We love photographer, Mark "the Cobrasnake" Hunter, and his popular nightlife site and online thrift store. But we love him even more his latest Halloween-themed photo shoot with friend Jillian Kate for the Cobrashop.

La mode en français
As I was catching up on my fashion news I found photos of Paris Vogue's Masked Ball. The costumes and the masks were absolutely amazing and so intricate. Gives me some ideas for Halloween...

LA livin' baby
I first have to say I'm so glad LB is back!!! And I'm glad to be back too. After moving to LA this week I've had quite the issue with the internet in my new apartment but finally fixed it today so I can start posting again! I'm now catching up on all my favorite fashion websites and fashion photos that I've been missing out on for the past week. The Sartorialist captured my two favorite styles for fall. The military jacket and the lace up booties. I kind of love that the shoes don't match the jacket. Something to try when it starts getting cooler here.
Crack open the Skull
I recently discovered this Crystal head vodka, which I love because of the awezum skull shaped bottle it comes in. Perfect for serving at a party this Halloween, and when it's all gone, reuse the bottle as a too kewl skeleton decanter. Did we mention it's hawked by Dan Aykroyd as long lost treasure? Get your own bottle at http://www.crystalheadvodka.com/

Everyday is Halloween!
Diggin' These Trenches
One of our followers, inspired by the blog's new layout, asked us to recommend some trench coats for fall. When I think trenches I think traditional Burberry camel, which also happens to be one of the most popular colors this season...
If you can't afford the pricier British version of this versatile coat, we found two cute coats for fall that won't break the bank. We love this classic Calvin Klein trench on sale at Macy's for only $99, and a wool and cashmere version by J Crew for $325. The classic trench is a timeless piece, so why not invest a little more in a coat that never seems to go out of style? Change it up by adding a studded belt or tie a bow in the back and wear it like a cape to show off your trés chic outfit underneath.

Another big trend we're seeing this fall is Military, in everything from combat boots to camouflage purses. A great way to work this look is a military style trench. We're loving this DKNY olive green coat, also from Macy's for $99.98. Wantin some more armed forces? Change the buttons for some vintage gold ones and you're ready for battle babes.

If you're feeling more vamp this fall, we like this funky black crinkly trench (eDress Me $73) and flirty Alice + Olivia coat ($484 at Berdoff Goodman). Why not add some blood red lips to the mix?
And of course I had to include my favorites from Burberry, known for it's iconic trench. . .

Burberry Prorsum's latest SS2011 collection
I'm obsessed with the black leather motorcycle babe trench, a look that seems more fall than spring to me, but just gives us something to look forward to! I also ♥ the gold accents (YES! Studs are here to stay!) on the classic trench, add a bright snakeskin belt and VOILA- the prefect mix of punk rock babe and feminine sweet for spring. Did I mention how much I'm diggin' those sea foam green shoes they're carrying? Once again, bravo Christopher.
