Le Placard de Lo

Our next Le Placard feature is a true française who moved to the US to fulfill her dream and work in fashion. Meet Lo:

Name: Lo

Location: Cannes (France)

Occupation: take a gap year in US started in January 2011.

Favorite Designer: Thakoon, DVF, Whitney Eve, Zac Posen, Isabel Marant, Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs

Describe your style: my style is a mix between each part of US as California/Texas/New York. I always admired American way and as a French, I'm inspired my that: boho, fresh, chic style :)

Where do you find your clothes? Basically to H&M, ZARA, New Look (English brand) , little shops and online.

What is on your fashion wish list at the moment? The arty ring from YSL, a bow necklace from Tiffany, high wedge boots from BCBG and a faux fur jacket from Thakoon.

In my closet, my shoes are kind of precious. I love associate the color of the shoes with the same color on a dress or a tank, have an outfit based on 2 or 3 max panels.

I love colors and i don't wear black very much. In Fall, i wear all the time a big scarf from ZARA (all my scarf are from ZARA, i don't know why :p) with high boots, leggings and long pull dress.
The long pull dress is from H&M new collection, the tank from H&M too

The denim-short is vintage and the legging from ZARA.

The owl is the one from ASOS.

You can check out more of Lo's style on her blog here.

The Happiest Gurls in the whole wide world

Last Saturday we spent the day at the happiest place in the world

When we got there, we immediately went to see the Mad Hatter to get ears!

We ate yummy mickey ice cream bars and sticky cotton candy!

We also bought Mickey hair ties and decided to turn them into bracelets.

SG and LB wore each their favorite purses, which they found in a flea
market in Spain! They added a few cobrsnake pins and even a dream catcher!

One of my favorite rides since I was little is the Mad Hatter's Tea Party!

We wandered around in Sleeping Beauty's enchanted pink castle

And of course we had to fly on Dumbo since it was Molly's first visit!

Princess silly bandz were also a must!

It was simply, a magical day for three groovy little princesses

Jeepers Creepers- L.A. Part II

Friday night we decided to venture out to L.A.'s Griffith Park to check out the Haunted Hayride and Halloween carnival. There were lots of scary monsters creeping behind every corner, including a dark tent full of strobe-light-techno-dancing clowns that was the fekking freakiest thing EVER!
We had too much fun playing in the crunchy leaves, riding carnival rides, and even winning a few prizes, including a sweet neon purple turtle. And although the corn dogs and cotton candy that we'd been banking on were nowhere to be found, instead we munched on yummy carne asada tacos, delicious hot chocolate, and candy apples!
A perfect fall night with friendsss

London Calling

Le Placard de Joanne

We just adore the lovely Joanne, and her Petite Side of Style!

We're hopping across the pond for this next Le Placard and asked Joanne to show us some of the pieces that make up her chic English style... And needless to say we're très jealous of her proximity to Top Shop and Oxford Circus. Le sigh!

Name:
Joanne Christina
Occupation:
Fashion Student
Location: London
Favorite Designer: Highstreet Designers
Favorite Quote:
"You Only Live Once."

Joanne says- "I've just moved house and i miss my old closet very much, I had the attic room and my wardrobe was rails underneath the roof and my clothes went from one end to the other. Now I have to store most of my clothes at the house in the bottom of the garden so all my main items are kept in my room closet.

I have so many favourite pieces, but right now it must be my Moto Topshop Coral jeans. I wanted these for ages and I finally got them!"

I also love my bodycon Topshop petite skirt

M
y new Topshop cardigan, its so warm!

Topshop shorts

Feelin' kinda foxy

I'm obsessed with my new fox tail key chain! I originally bought it as part of my Halloween costume, but I love how it looks clipped to my school bag or purse and now I can't stop wearing it. It's just the cutest (literally) fall accessory! So tell me, what do you guys think of this furry trend?

Rockin n Rollin in the streets of Hollywood

We spent Friday playing around in Hollywood

Had a yummy sushi lunch at Katsuya

Went to the Cobrashop

Did some shopping, took some photos

And fell in love with Johnny Makeup

Oh yeah, T Swift was there too

In my dreams

I can't recall where I first saw this bracelet but I'm adding it to my dream list (cause I'll probably only get it in my dreams). I have the original Cartier Love Bracelet that can only be opened with a tiny screw so you can imagine, I've never taken it off. I love the new design to the love bracelet with the two rings. I think I would like it better if they were both the same color (preferably gold) but I still love the design behind it. Maybe one day I'll add this new one to my old one.
