Rainy Days
It's been rainy here for a little over a week now but I'm so excited to be home I don't even care! That and I never get to wear my favorite rainboots in California. Just started a little part-time jobber to keep me busy and get me some extra cash before I go to Paris (in a little less than 2 weeks!). And I'm pretty excited because Scoop NYC asked me to design another print for them! Hope you're all having a fabulous week and thanks so much for all the comments!

fall is in the air
Somebody seriously messed with the settings on my camera and now everything looks like it's glowing. I can't figure out how to fix it so these are the best photos I could take. It's starting to get shockingly (to me) cold in Chicago but I love the feeling of bundling up in everything from your closet. Can't wait until I finish unpacking my entire life so I have more than 5 shirts to wear. Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Le Placard d'Agnes
DOES
It's been a long time since we have posted any Placards (longer than we'd ever like to admit). After recently discovering her blog, we think Agnes' closet is a perfect place to start up again. As an English teacher in Hong Kong, she wrestles with being a fashionista while still keeping it classic for the classroom. You can check out her style blog here and check out her closet below:

How would you describe your style? Classy, elegant, retro x modern, work-appropriate
Where do you get your clothes? For clothes, I tend to go high street stores like Zara and other local little boutiques. There are great bargains. I spend more on shoes, even more on bags. I want shoes to be put on for years and bags to be worn forever.
What is on your fashion wish list at the moment? Burberry boots for winter (preferably mid-heel - more practical!)Where do you get your clothes? Somebody changed all the settings on my camera so now every picture I take looks like Glamour Shots. I tried to fix it before taking these but they've still got a weird sort of glow to them. Hope you all got your Missoni x Target today and are having a great week!

au revoir, los angeles
Don't mind me looking crabby I'm just super awkward haha. Going to spend the next week packing my entire life up and driving cross country. Here's a quick little outfit post since I probably won't post anything for the next week. As always, thanks for all your comments, we love hearing from you guys!

i'll miss these days
Thanks to Elizabeth for taking so many great pictures I decided to use most of them. It's hot as all get out in LA still and of course my air conditioning has decided to stop working for a few days so I'm dreaming of a nice ocean breeze rolling through here. I have only 1 class left in my entire grad school career and only 5 days left in LA. I'm starting to get a big nostalgic and sad that I'm leaving but I'm also very excited to go home and see my friends and family in Chicago. This post is my last procrastination for packing! Hope you're all having a lovely weekend =)

Fog Inside the Glass Around Your Summer Heart
Summer has officially come and gone, and while I do love fall, part of me is wishing I could hold onto the warm sunshine and that carefree feeling of the last dog days of the season. I'm especially not ready to say goodbye to my favorite rompers, dresses, and sandals for the next six months, my cold weather clothes are just not as colorful and exciting. Instead of pondering the missing pieces to my fall wardrobe, I'm choosing to get lost in the last magical pictures of my perfect Summer.

I hope you all had an enchanted Summer as well! What was your favorite memory/moment/party/outfit?

beach baby
Just starting to wind down to the last week of graduate school. Life has been crazy these past 3 months with projects and it's been a while since I haven't woken up to a redbull. Only 9 more days to go and I will be officially done and moving back to Chicago. I'm also really excited to share my virtual portfolio with you guys which should be up within the week. Happy labor day everyone! Hopefully I will be grilling out today on my rooftop with some friends and I hope you guys are too!
