happy 4th!
Happy 4th of July everyone! I'm celebrating in fabulous Las Vegas (my 3rd home) with some amazing friends. All 8 of us are shoved into a 4 bedroom house and we have converted the kitchen and dining room into little private bedroom nooks (that makes it sound better right?). We got a preview of some of the amazing Vegas fireworks last night and there was even a fountain show at the Bellagio at the same time making it for the most awesome fountain +fireworks experience ever. Hope you guys are grilling out and are just as excited as I am for more fireworks!

So I just finished another quarter of grad school today and am now 3/4 done and HOPEFULLY will have more time to blog next quarter. I haven't slept in three months and I still feel like I have a million things to do when all I have to do now is enjoy the next three weeks of summer break. Elizabeth and I will be reunited in two short days and we promise to bring you some extremely amazing posts for the next couple of weeks. I can't wait until Chicago where it will actually be sunny! I can't remember the last sunny day in LA. Until our new posts, I hope you enjoy this lovely color from Essie called smooth sailing. Sparkly purple/blue, and I love it! Perfect for the start of my vacation =)

i'm the queen of comfort
I spent the afternoon at Louie in downtown LA with Renee eating an amazing meal, popping champagne, and eating the most delicious desserts. They made gourmet pizzas right next to our table and I wish I could have snapped a photo of our meal but I ate it before I could think about taking one. After the meal, we of course had to get some desserts to go and I scored a box of prettily packaged macaroons and Renee got some pastries. We then took some quick outfit shots on our walk home to end a delightful day. And yes, those are my alien toes, or skis as people refer to my feet due to their size. If you don't know me, then you aren't aware that I'm a total Sasquatch and if you do you're probably laughing at me right now. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!
