Parlez-vous OPI?

I went to my cousin's wedding this weekend and got a last minute manicure with this awesome color called Parlez-vous OPI. I really like it so I might just have to buy it!

Pretty in Pink

Although I've never been a huge fan of her fashion choices, Leighton Meester absolutley nailed the perfect Spring outfit in her frilly Christian Dior dress and neon Lanvin wedges at the Country Strong premier. I love how her hot pink and orange shoes add a pOp of color to the Gossip Girl's outfit.

Music to my ears

Marc by Marc Jacobs is turning 10 years old.. can you believe it?! Neither can we! ...and to celebrate the brand is debuting a limited edition collection of tee shirts, dresses, and scarves of their best prints from over the past decade. Unfortunately for me, the collections will only be in stores this Thursday- Saturday in California, New York, and DC. But for those of us who won't be able to make it to select few stores, you can still celebrate with an MJ mixtape of all their favorite songs. I have a confession to make..

One of my favorite Spring collections of all time is Burberry Porsum S/S 2009. Yes, two years later and I still find myself daydreaming about the silky dipped dyed trenches, soft grays and silvers, whimsical layers of chiffon and unfinished hems, not to mention the striking spring greens. The romantic collection appears as if these models were walking around all day in a wild little garden in the rainy english countryside. . . .

I particularly love the accessories of this collection- necklaces of clattering metallic leaves, wooden bangles, and shimmering rain hats. I'm still obsessed with the socks and platform combination.. a look that just now seems to be coming into style.

Ok, so I'm a little late... but some great spring time inspiration none the less, no?

Love the braided pocket that Paige Premium Denim is coming out with!

Two seriously fabulous finds to keep your lips luscious and delicious. The first is tinted lip conditioner in fuchsia fix by MAC. Such a gorgeous color on, it's like having an amazing tinted chapstick. The next is Sugar Rosé by fresh which is available at Sephora. It looks really dark on the stick but once you put it on it fades into a more translucent color but a really pretty color. The best part about both is they're good for your lips and both equipped with spf 15.

Shoe of the week: Jeffrey Campbell Swansong

In keeping with our floral theme, we just love these floral wedges (Swansong) from Jeffrey Campbell! They pair perfectly with any military pant.

Our take on D&G Spring 2011

Here is Le Placard's take on D&G's Spring 2011 collection.

We paired D&G's Snow White Tee with Ashen Shorts and Betsey Johnson Wedge Sandals, and a cute Juicy Couture enamel ring .

For this outfit we found a similar floral dress by Miss Selfridge and paired it with the D&G Spring 2011 Canvas Tote, Hunter Wellies (we liked red vs. green), and another enamel Juicy Couture Ring.

The runway appeared to be straight out of the Garden of Eden

Spring is almost here, and now that the days are starting to become longer and warmer I'm craving some bright new clothes to go along with it. My favorite collection this spring is far and away the garden inspired D+G collection. Full of flowy boho dresses, sky high espedrilles, flowers GALORE, and even a Disney T-shirt or two.. I admit, every S/S fashion week I secretly hope that my more designers will debut collections like this!

I particularly love the mix of different floral patterns paired with my favorite shoes for spring- Wellies and sky high espedrilles! Time to break out your favorite rompers, garden party dresses, and throw on some wedges because SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

My boyfriend just bought me a sewing machine for my birthday and it's supposed to come in the mail today so I've been thinking about all the things that I want to make. I think I'm going to start with a maxi skirt. Maybe with a draw string. Probably in navy. I'm so excited! Post to come!
